Around OZ The First Time

We venture further down and onto the track to the northern boat ramp. Its rough gravel but certainly not impassable for the ordinary car

Tonight, we have decided to go full hog on the food. Forbsy has a butterflied, lamb shoulder roast he wants to share, and I will contribute Tuscan Meatballs.

Out of the bush we find a spot well back from the river for our croc spotting women folk to view from and the hunter and gatherers load up and start to fish with lures and poppers.

Robyn is like a pig in mud, so is Rosalie. They look here, they look there. Robyn sees something she thinks might look good on here ears and I agree

Rosalie suggests to Robyn she needs a mango smoothie to go and Robyn readily agrees she needs one too. Robyn needs a toilet stop before we head out so we tell both women we will meet them at the front gate which is adjacent to the smoothie distributor.

We finally get back to the resort and pump some Powerade into our bodies. Its not long before the others are on approach and I buy a round for them which is ready as they walk in.

I am more than happy we have not seen as many crocodiles as I perceived there would be, but have seen enough, almost treading on one, to know a boat is a much better idea than bank fishing
