The Plight of the Shopping Trolley
An essay into the trials and tribulations of the shopping trolley in the Pilbara region of North Western Western Australia – presented with apologies to David Attenborough and anyone else who has documented the plight of living organisms.
The Centre to the Dish
Roads are conduits between the start and the destination and we are a destination based life form. The road between Condobolin, the geographic centre of New South Wales and Parkes, the home of the Dish is 100 kilometers of almost straight bitumen.
Along with several settlements there are vast agricultural estates and agri-businesses, not to mention an amazing solar farm. Its these things that form part of the journey we explore in, The Centre to the Dish”, a short series of essays and stories (and pictures by outstanding photographer Robb Cox from Gasoline Creative) of a journey along this road. Condobolin has a special place in the hearts of both Jeff Banks and Robb Cox both having family connections here.
