Around OZ The First Time

The road reveals the boat ramps – three of them – emanating from a car park at the end of the road

As the sun lowers, I take shots of the vista, playing with the lighting in an attempt to get THE shot.

You never know, that anxiety you feel from over work might just be eased with a dose of what this great land can offer.

Here again on the beach, clothes appear to be optional, there are bathers and sunbakers alike, enjoying their time here bereft of covering items

Its getting late and we have lovely lamb chops to have for dinner, so we pack up and head back to the park

The boat on the trailer, Jeff returns us to the van park with gutted fish, for us to show the waiting ladies, we can actually produce food for dinner.

One of the things we have wanted to do whilst on this trip is take pictures of the Milky Way, but because of light pollution either from the moon or surrounding human intervention, it has not been optimum.

Sitting down for a rest after the big session, Silver Leader pokes his head in and lets us know of some very bad news

He looks around, trying to refit the fan belt when all of a sudden, he changes his demeanour from, I can fix this quickly, to, I think you are in trouble.

Just as Robyn returns, Silver Leader is into a large fish. He is using light gear as well and is playing the fish in the surf, much like I had to with mine.

What the events of the last three weeks have shown, beyond the best laid plans of mice and men is that the three “P’s” of life are just as required in our situation.

I awaken to the smell of lamb chops cooking, have I slept all afternoon – no – Robyn has started on a braised chop stew for dinner.
