The service manager returns to his desk. For the next three hours I sit and wait. I can see the Cruiser in the car park as it was when I arrived. It is not moved.

Here We Go Again – Chapter 82 – Broome Day 4
As the cars start to head off, the eyes are stabbed by the brightness of their headlights. It takes some time for them to return to being able to see properly. We are one of the last to leave. Greg has taken an interest in us and Kirsten and is happy to simply talk.
Here We Go Again – Chapter 83 – Broome Day 5
For quite some time leading into today my headaches and back issues have been getting worse. We pass two chiropractors businesses and take down their details. We will be on the phone to them on Monday to see about availability.
Here We Go Again – Chapter 84 – Broome Day 6
The views here are breathtaking (as if nothing else we have seen this morning haven’t). Fish Tales – Chapter 1 – Why I like to Fish
A bit like Elmer Fudd seeking “wabbits”, or those seeking the Daffy Duck – Purple Pumpernickel (Disney), seeking them here and seeking them there, its a constant battle where the satisfaction is not in the outcome but the quest itself
Fish Tales – Chapter 2 – 19 February 2022
A bream decides this is lunch and gives me a great battle before becoming the tying fish in the esk. Two all, who will break the deadlock. The score would be much different if the weed fish were counted
Fish Tales – Chapter 3 – 20 February 2022
The Skipper never got a bite. Same rig, same lures, same technique, all to no avail
Fish Tales – Chapter 4 – 26 February 2022
In Smiths Lake we have often caught these predators, released them and then had them turn on us in ankle deep water, rather than return to where they were hooked.
Fish Tales – Chapter 5 – 27 February 2022
The locals then are the first to complain when services are held back due to funding or when, heaven forbid, they actually get caught doing the wrong thing.
Fish Tales – Chapter 6 – The Murray – March 2022
The only real challenge towards the end of the trip was to see if we could hook upwards of 200 Carp for the fortnight. Without even trying we managed well in excess of that with the net.
Here We Go Again – Chapter 85 – Broome Day 7
Given the state of the engine under the hood, one wonders if they looked given the air intakes are still full of leaves. He is not a happy camper and he intends to front the service manager in the morning with his worries
