Tomorrow is the important word, but it does not need to stand alone to become important. For all the darkness described in these pages, I have always wanted tomorrow, even when I desperately wanted the feeling I was carrying towards it to stop.
I wanted to know what my children would do tomorrow, what Robyn and I might do tomorrow and, apparently, what ridiculous project I might decide needs doing tomorrow. That is why I promised myself this is the last time, because I don’t want to spend tomorrow writing another chapter about yesterday’s darkness when there is an entire day available in the other direction.
